How to Open a Jet Account

Opening a Jet Account gives you instant access to the latest fashions, for you, your family and home.

And you can get more with your Jet account as you can also use your account to pay for services and products. Such as insurance from Jet Financial Services; flight tickets with Mango; bus tickets with Greyhound and Citi liner; selected doctors, dentists and optometrists.

And as we know a store card can be used only in one store or chain of stores. But when you open a Jet account you can swap your old account card for a Jet Thank U account card. The card can still be used for account purchases as well as purchases in stores within the Edcon Group. Stores like Legit, Boardman’s CNA, Edgars Active and Red Square.

1. You must be 18 years or older, employed, a pensioner or student that’s been studying for more than a year at a recognised educational institution.
2. Have a valid South African ID, latest 3 months payslips or 3 months bank statements and proof of residential address.

Application for a Jet account can be done at your nearest Jet or Jet Mart where you’ll fill in a form along with the aforementioned documents. Alternatively you can apply online.

And to see if you qualify the following will be looked at your expenses, contact and employment details. As well as your income, this should be a minimum salary of R600.

Once you’ve applied, it will take between 3-5 working days for your application to be processed.
