Kusum Sharma affidavit has undergone another revision once again, this is 5th revision of the income affidavit, which has come from Delhi High Court.
Before proceeding to the format of income affidavit, let us understand the Differences in the Old and new Income affidavit.
1. An individual is now supposed to give Monthly income from all sources including employment, business, vocation, interest, investment, income from properties, assets etc before, during and at the time of marriage.
2. An individual is now supposed to give Complete details of the immediate family members (Name, age, relation, occupation, income, residence and their office addresses)
3. Person has to also furnish their monthly income from all sources before, during and at the time of marriage and also that of their spouse if any.
4. The statement of income now contains detailed bifurcation pertaining to perquisites
5. The statement of assets also include detailed information pertaining to immovable assets and can further describe about its possession and of having in possession the title deeds.
6. If a party is carrying on the business as proprietor of proprietorship concern/partner of a partnership concern/director of a company/member of a HUF/trustee of a trust/ member of a society or in any other form/entity, the Court may consider directing the party to file an additional affidavit with respect to the assets of the proprietorship concern/partnership concern/ company/society/HUF/Trust, as the case may be, in the format of Bhandari Engineers judgment.
7. The court has in the latest judgment also made it mandatory to file the income affidavits simultaneously.
